Phnom Penh: HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister and President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee, presided over a tricycle riding event aimed at boosting tourism and showcasing local products, engaging in conversation with senior citizens, experienced tri-cyclists, producers, artisans, service providers, and traders affiliated with the Khmer Social Development Association. This event took place on the afternoon of Sunday, 22 December 2024, at Wat Phnom, with the participation of dignitaries, civil servants and members of the Khmer Social Development Association. On that occasion, HE [Keo Remey] commended HE Svay Sonarith, Director of the Khmer Social Development Association, for organising this initiative, which benefits senior citizens, experienced tri-cyclists, producers, artisans, service providers, and traders. He added that the event fulfils three main objectives: to promote the use of Cambodian products, to attract tourists, and to create job opportunities while preserving tricycle culture.
