On 7 January 2025, HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee and Chairman of the Royal Government Task Force, visited Koas Kralor district, Battambang province, where he led a national working group to present and inspect the main achievements for the residents of two communes in Koas Kralor district: Chhnal Moan and Preah Phos.

In Chhnal Moan commune, HE [Keo Remy], Senior Minister, visited the local residents, opened the construction site of a 1,300-metre-long road and handed over 30 solar light poles. The construction of the road and the installation of solar street lights are significant contributions that address the communes’ essential needs for daily activities, including commuting to work, transporting agricultural products and so on.

In Preah Phos commune, HE [Keo Remy], Senior Minister, also had a cordial meeting with local residents and directly inspected the progress of a road construction project that spans over 16 kilometres and is paved with red gravel. This project is part of the commune’s development efforts, and he observed that the team is diligently working on building the road.

Overall, the local residents expressed their satisfaction with the ongoing successes at the grassroots level, which resulted from the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders under the astute leadership of the Head of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
