HE Pa Ponnarada, Member of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee, Attended Joint Meeting of Secretariat of Three ASEAN Community Councils at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
On 10 July 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation organised a joint meeting of the Secretariat of the three ASEAN Community Councils to better prepare for the upcoming ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and related meetings, which is scheduled to take place on 21-27 July 2024 and the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and related meetings in October 2024 in Laos.
His Excellency Pa Ponnarada reported on the progress of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) as well as AICHR-Cambodia in the promotion and protection of human rights in the ASEAN region.
