Her Excellency Ouch Nipon, led an AICHR-Cambodia delegation to the 37th Meeting
On 23-26 May 2023, on behalf of His Excellency Keo Remy, Minister Delegate attached to the Prime Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), and Chair of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights in Cambodia (AICHR-Cambodia), Her Excellency Ouch Nipon, CHRC member and Director General of the General Department of Administration and Complaints, led an AICHR-Cambodia delegation to the 37th Meeting of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights in Denpasar, Bali province, Indonesia. The meeting was chaired by Her Excellency Yuyun Wahyuningrum, Indonesian representative to AICHR and the 2023 AICHR Chair and attended by AICHR representatives of all ASEAN countries and representatives of the ASEAN Secretariat.
During the meeting, Her Excellency [Ouch Nipon], head of the delegation, said after Cambodia successfully took on the role of the 2022 AICHR Chair, in 2023, AICHR-Cambodia is going to implement the 2023 AICHR-Cambodia priority programmes and activities, with 2 priority activity projects, the 7th ASEAN Youth Advocacy on Human Rights, and Regional Dialogue: Sharing Best Practices for Promoting Human Rights during the COVID-19 Outbreak in ASEAN.
