HE Pa Ponnarada and HE Van Dana, CHRC Members, Participated in the 13th Cambodia-European Union Joint Committee Meeting
HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), assigned HE Pa Ponnarada and HE Van Dana, CHRC members, to take part in the 13th Cambodia-European Union Joint Committee Meeting, which was held on 26 March 2026 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Phnom Penh.
The meeting seeks to share perspectives and information on core topics like trade, investment, governance, and human rights, while reviewing the progress, challenges, and upcoming paths for Cambodia-EU collaboration.
The Cambodian delegation emphasised the Royal Government of Cambodia’s efforts to promote and protect human rights, while underscoring ongoing cooperation to deepen ties with international partners grounded in mutual respect, understanding, and collaboration.
The meeting unfolded in a constructive environment, helping to bolster the enduring relationship and partnership between Cambodia and the European Union.
