Pong Teuk High School Students Participated in CHRC-Organised Educational Session on “Human Rights and Law”

Phnom Penh: HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), assigned HE Vann Chandara, a CHRC member, representing HE Chham Mari, CHRC Vice President and Director General of the General Department of Investigation and Human Rights Education, to head a working group to Pong Teuk High School, Phnom Penh, on Thursday, 2 July 2026. The group delivered an awareness session on “human rights and law” to 68 (42 female) students.

Topics included 1. Cambodia’s human rights protection mechanisms, 2. citizens’ rights and obligations, and 3. rights, freedoms, and laws.

The school’s principal, management board, teachers, and students warmly welcomed this educational and outreach event, contributing significantly to its successful outcome.
