CHRC Working Group: On Wednesday, 7 August, 2024, HE Senior Minister Keo Remy, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), assigned HE Sin Bunthoeurn, a member of the CHRC, to lead a working group to the Cambodian Child Development Organisation from which the working group referred two children to their mother being held in the Correctional Centre (M2) so that they can experience the same warmth between mothers and children as other children do.
It should be noted that this is the 13th time that the CHRC and the Cambodian Child Development Organisation, together with the Correctional Centre (M2), have cooperated in bringing children to see their mothers who are being held in the aforesaid correctional centre. Taking that opportunity, the working group went in to unlock the CHRC complaint box as well.
