HE Nhem Bunthoeun Led a Working Group to Investigate Complaints from Citizens in Kandal [Kampong Thom] Province
Kampong Thom: In response to complaints from citizens, HE Senior Minister Keo Remy, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), assigned HE Nhem Bunthoeun, a CHRC member and Acting Director General of the General Department of Administration and Complaints, to lead a working group to Tamer village in Banteay Stong commune, Stong district, Kampong Thom province. This investigation occurred on Tuesday, 20 August 2024. The working group met with the representatives of the citizens who had lodged complaints, seeking further clarification regarding the land dispute in Tamer village, Banteay Stong commune, Stong district, Kampong Thom province.
