The ASEAN Dialogue is a continuation of the AICHR Philippines’ initiative since 2018 to promote the rights of the child in ASEAN member countries and to provide a regional forum for further cooperation in discussing this Convention, with the participation of relevant institutions, including representatives of the AICHR and ACWC, the ASEAN Secretariat, representatives of relevant ASEAN institutions, representatives of national human rights institutions, government officials and line ministries, and representatives of non-governmental organisations.

The 2024 ASEAN Dialogue on the General Comment No. 26 focuses on the rights of the child and the environment, which are important topics that require urgent cooperation from relevant institutions in the last decade.
