HE Lim Rathanak Chaired Meeting to Conclude Results of Half Marathon Organising Commission for the Commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of International Human Rights Day, 10 December
At the meeting hall of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), on Tuesday morning, 21 January 2025, HE Lim Rathanak, a member of the CHRC and Chairman of the Half Marathon Organising Commission for the Commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of International Human Rights Day, 10 December, presided over a meeting to wrap up the Commission’s activities.
The meeting provided an overview of the Commission’s activities and summarised the overall outcomes since the commencement of roles and responsibilities on 27 August 2024. It also highlighted the challenges faced, strengths identified, shortcomings encountered, and offered suggestions for improvement.
HE Lim Rathanak expressed deep gratitude to the dignitaries, Excellencies, and esteemed guests, including leaders, Chairs, Vice Chairs of the Commission and Sub-Commissions, for their dedicated teamwork and sense of responsibility, which contributed significantly to the success of the Half Marathon Organising Commission for the Commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of International Human Rights Day, 10 December, in Battambang province, on 8 December 2024, receiving considerable support from both Cambodians and international visitors.
