HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), chaired a working session in the CHRC meeting hall, focusing on strengthening the committee’s core tasks and key functions, while reviewing and assessing human rights progress from the recent period, on the afternoon of 11 March 2026.

In the meeting, HE [Keo Remy,] Senior Minister, urged officials at all levels to keep boosting work efficiency and fulfilling their roles as assigned. He also called for tighter collaboration among them to enable smooth coordination, while advancing more effective public service in human rights and better addressing people’s needs.

At the same time, HE [Keo Remy,] Senior Minister, announced and shared details about his work trip to Geneva, Switzerland, to join international meetings and discussions on human rights at the 61st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council. He noted that this global forum offers a key chance to highlight Cambodia’s efforts and progress—driven by the firm leadership of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia—in promoting and protecting human rights, while deepening ties with the international community on this front.

The meeting wrapped up with a shared commitment from all leaders and officials to carry out human rights efforts more effectively and accountably. This aims to bolster respect for and protection of human rights across the Kingdom of Cambodia.
