HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, Said, “Sports Bring Health, Friendship, Diplomatic Ties and Peace,” during a Meeting with the Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, to the Kingdom of Cambodia

Phnom Penh: HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), welcomed HE Jang Yun Gon, the Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Cambodia, who paid a courteous farewell visit following the conclusion of his duties and mandate in the Kingdom of Cambodia on the morning of 18 June 2025 at the CHRC meeting hall.
HE Jang Yun Gon expressed his gratitude to HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, and appreciated the good relationship between the Embassy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Cambodia so far. Meanwhile, he stated that the Embassy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Cambodia will continue to strengthen its cooperation with the CHRC. He conveyed his regret for being unable to attend the 2nd Southeast Asian Championship, scheduled to take place in Phnom Penh from 27-30 June 2025, hosted by the ITF Cambodia Taekwondo Federation. He extended his best wishes to HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, for a successful organisation of the championship.
HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, expressed his gratitude to HE Jang Yun Gon, the Ambassador, for his courteous farewell visit upon the completion of his duties and mandate. He conveyed his regret that the Ambassador was unable to attend the 2nd Southeast Asian Championship. He also remarked that the event would showcase how “sports promote health, friendship, diplomatic ties, and peace.”
