HE Keo Remy and HE Bun Hon Presented Tean Vassa (Vassa Candles) to Monks from 18 Temples throughout Kors Kralor District, Battambang Province
Battambang: HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), Chairman of the Royal Government Working Group to assist the local residents of Kors Kralor district, Battambang province, and HE Bun Hon, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Interior, Deputy Chairman of the Royal Government Working Group of Kors Kralor district, Battambang province, including Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen, dignitaries, civil servants, CHRC lawyers, and civil servants of the Ministry of Interior, presented Tean Vassa and Buddhist offerings to the monks residing at 18 temples throughout the Kors Kralor district, at Wat Moni Ratanaram, also known as Wat Samrong Krom, Kors Kralor district, Battambang province, on Sunday, 20 July 2025.
It should be noted that the offerings given to each pagoda include Tean Vassa, Sladoc (baskets containing various items), rice, instant noodles, braised fish, fish sauce, soy sauce, clean drinking water, and spices. In addition, 154 monks received 30,000 riel each and 18 abbots were given 20,000 riel each, amounting to a total of 18,906,000 riel.
The aforesaid offerings were made possible because the country is safe and peaceful under the wise leadership of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and further led by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia.
