HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, stated that the fighting spirit on today’s battlefields, as the nation defends itself, represents the noblest and most courageous display of heroism for inspiring patriotism in future generations.
On 20 December 2025, HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), led a CHRC delegation to visit wounded soldiers–in person–who were fulfilling their mission to defend the nation, territorial integrity, and the Khmer people from Siamese invasion; they are being treated at the Siem Reap Referral Hospital and the 4th Military Region Hospital in Siem Reap.
On that occasion, HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, conveyed the top leaders’ best regards and attention, including Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, and HE Dr Pich Chanmony, to all the brave soldiers and their families. He emphasised that the leaders’ presence at this moment serves as a testament to gratitude and encouragement for the immense sacrifices made by these heroic soldiers and their families, who courageously offered their lives, blood and physical strength to defend Cambodia’s homeland, sovereignty and territorial integrity against the enemy’s savage and relentless invasion.
HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, stressed that the current fighting is to defend the nation, serving as an unprecedentedly heroic and courageous model for the next generation to foster patriotism. This heroism has inspired the Cambodians at home and abroad to hold the soldiers in deep respect and admiration, to unite firmly with the Royal Government, and to stand resolutely behind the heroic frontline troops battling the enemy at all times.
To help ease their hardships and provide encouragement, HE Keo Remy gave gifts to the soldiers and their families, which included various other food items such as rice, noodles, dried fish, scarves, and some cash.
