His Excellency Ith San, led a [CHRC] Working Group to provide education on “human rights and law”
On the morning of Tuesday, 19 March 2024, His Excellency Ith San, a member of the [Cambodian] Human Rights Committee (CHRC) and Director of the Department of Human Rights Education, led a [CHRC] Working Group to Hun Sen Veal Renh High School in Sihanoukville. The purpose of this visit was to provide education on “human rights and law” to students, aiming to enhance their understanding of fundamental human rights principles, international human rights covenants and treaties and domestic laws in relation to human rights.
The principal, school management, teachers, and students warmly welcomed the CHRC Working Group, contributing to the success of these outreach efforts.
