In response to a complaint lodged by a detainee at Correctional Center 2 (M2) through a CHRC complaint box, His Excellency Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the CHRC, assigned a CHRC Working Group led by His Excellency Sin Bunthoeurn, a CHRC member, to investigate the case on Friday, 21 June 2024.

The Working Group met with the Centre’s director, officials and the complainant directly to gather the issues being faced by the detainee.
