His Excellency Ban Thero, to educate and disseminate information on “human rights and law”.
On the morning of Wednesday, 26 April 2023, with close attention, His Excellency Keo Remy, Minister Delegate attached to the Prime Minister and President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee, appointed His Excellency Ban Thero, [CHRC] member and Deputy Director General of the General Department of Investigation and Human Rights Education, on behalf of Director General of the General Department of Investigation and Human Rights Education Her Excellency Chham Mary, to lead a CHRC Working Group to local communities in Sangkat Taing Krasang, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh to educate and disseminate information on “human rights and law”.
This dissemination aims to further raise public awareness of basic human rights principles, international human rights treaties and covenants, and national laws in relation to human rights.
The CHRC Working Group was warmly welcomed by Chief and First Deputy Chief of Sangkat, members of the [Commune] Council, authorities at all levels and the locals, which made this dissemination a great success.
