Residents of Korngchey Commune Participated in CHRC-Organised Educational Session on “Human Rights and Law”
Tbong Khmum province: HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), assigned HE Chham Mari, CHRC Vice President and Director General, to head a working group to Korngchey commune, O’Raing-Ov district, Tbong Khmum province, on Monday, 6 April 2026. The group conducted a “Human Rights and Law” awareness session that drew 33 participants (7 women). The session covered three key educational topics: 1. Cambodia’s human rights protection mechanisms, 2. citizens’ rights and obligations, and 3. rights, freedoms, and laws.
The provincial governor and deputy governor, district deputy governor, commune chief and council members, and local residents warmly welcomed this educational and outreach event, contributing significantly to its successful outcome.
