Prek Leap High School students participated in CHRC-organised educational session on “Human Rights and Law.”
Phnom Penh: HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), assigned HE Chham Mari, CHRC Vice President and Director General of the General Department of Investigation and Human Rights Education, to head a working group to Prek Leap High School on Thursday, 7 May 2026. The group delivered an awareness session on human rights and law to 96 students (51 female).
Topics included 1. Cambodia’s human rights protection mechanisms, 2. citizens’ rights and obligations, and 3. rights, freedoms, and laws.
The school’s principal, management board, teachers, and students warmly welcomed this educational and outreach event, contributing significantly to its successful outcome.
