Sangkat Chak Angre Leu Residents Participated in CHRC-Organised Educational Session on “Human Rights and Law”

Phnom Penh: HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), assigned HE Oum Narin, a CHRC member, to head a working group to Sangkat Chak Angre Leu, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh, on Wednesday, 26 August 2026. The group delivered an awareness session on “human rights and law” to 33 (3 female) residents.

Topics included 1. Cambodia’s human rights protection mechanisms, 2. citizens’ rights and obligations, and 3. rights, freedoms, and laws.

The chief and council members of Sangkat, and representatives of the local residents warmly welcomed this educational and outreach event, contributing significantly to its successful outcome.
