On 19 December 2025, HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), led a CHRC working group to the Cambodia-Japan Friendship Hospital in Mongkol Borey, Banteay Meanchey province where nearly 40 Cambodian soldiers who were injured and are being treated, with the participation of HE Um Reatrey, Governor of Banteay Meanchey Province, and Dr Tu Barang, Director of the Cambodia-Japan Friendship Hospital, Mongkol Borey.

Taking the opportunity, HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, conveyed the best regards and attention of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, and HE Dr Pich Chanmony, to the brave soldiers, stating that the visit serves as both encouragement and a tribute to the invaluable sacrifices of our heroic army, as well as those of their families, who have given their lives and blood to defend Cambodia’s homeland and territorial integrity from the invading enemy.

HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, added that the current fighting is to defend the nation, serving as an unprecedentedly heroic and courageous model for the next generation to foster patriotism, and having united Cambodian citizens at home and abroad in respect and solidarity with the Royal Government, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the valiant frontline troops against the enemy.

At the same time, HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, distributed rice, noodles, dried fish, scarves, cash, and various other food items to each soldier and their family. He also delivered donated funds to the hospital for covering essential needs.
