HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, said the Cambodian army is named and remembered by the Cambodians both at home and abroad as heroes defending the nation against enemy invasion.
Korskralor district: On the morning of 23 December 2025, HE Keo Remy, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC) and Chairman of the Royal Government Task Force in Korskralor District, Battambang province, along with HE Bun Hon, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Cambodian People’s Party Task Force in Korskralor District, Battambang province, met with forces from 6 units in Korskralor district.
On that occasion, HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, he highlighted three key points making Cambodia’s defence of the nation strong. First: Thailand is the one who started the war by carrying out all kinds of provocative and inciting actions against Cambodia, i.e. shooting and killing Cambodian soldiers, setting up barbed wire, expelling residents from their homes, using noise pollution, and shooting and killing civilians, gang raping female workers, etc. However, the Royal Government of Cambodia adheres to a stance of maximum tolerance because Cambodia is well aware of the effects of war and the value of peace. Second: The Thai army, portrayed as an inexperienced force, city beautification soldiers, has been compelled to battle in service of a power-hungry leader indifferent to the welfare and lives of his own troops and populace. In particular, the Cambodian army volunteered to fight with a spirit of bravery and a conscience of love to defend the homeland, under the experienced, strategic, and skillful diplomatic leadership of Samdech Techo and Samdech Thipadei. Moreover, Thailand lacks internal unity, with the Royal Government, the armed forces, and political parties all having opposing positions, and numerous Thai intellectuals, businesspeople, and citizens do not support this war. On the contrary, Cambodia, the Royal Government, the army, and the people both at home and abroad, have an indivisible unity and voice, and always stand united and support each other. Third: The Cambodian army employs a psychological strategy as a key factor, showcasing a resolute stance through brave and determined facial expressions, gestures, words, and unwavering unity in combat.
HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, added that this battle extends beyond safeguarding territorial integrity; it also upholds the nation’s honour and prestige, thwarting further insults from this lawless and hostile country. All Cambodians express profound gratitude, hailing and commemorating the soldiers as heroes defending the homeland against the invading foe.
During the meeting, HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, provided the six units with gifts, including motorbikes, rice, noodles, fish sauce, soy sauce, cash, and other food items.
