HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, chaired the ceremony to unveil the joint plan for the 6th-term commune council elections in 2027 in Korskralor district, Battambang province. Battambang: On Saturday morning, 13 June 2026, HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee and Chairman of the Royal Government Task Force in Korskralor District, Battambang Province, and HE Bun Hon, Head of the [Cambodian People’s] Party Task Force in Korskralor District, Battambang Province, presided over the ceremony announcing the joint plan for the 6th-term commune council elections, scheduled for 6 June 2027, outlining a comprehensive strategy to secure victory in the commune and Sangkat contests. The campaign was attended by 238 participants, including district, commune, and village council members and members of the People’s Party. Taking the opportunity, HE [Keo Remy,] Senior Minister, commended the district council, local leaders, and officials of Korskralor for their competence and management. He emphasised that internal unity is the decisive factor for success in the upcoming commune and Sangkat elections. Commune chiefs should set a strong example by leading with openness, warmth, collaboration, and a problem solving approach. [He urged them to] work alongside the people through loyalty, honesty, patience, and accountability. He expressed his hope that Korskralor district will achieve a complete victory in the 6th-term commune council elections in 2027.
