HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), on Friday, 24 July 2026, assigned HE Buth Phalla, a CHRC member, and Director of the Investigation Department, representing HE Cham Mari, [CHRC] Vice President and Director General of the General Department of of Investigation and Human Rights Education, to lead a working group to Chivith Thmey Phnombak Centre and Banteay Meanchey Provincial Prison for a human rights situation inspection. The working group also brought medicines, kindly donated by HE [Keo Remy], Senior Minister, to the centre and to Banteay Meanchey provincial prison for their use.
