H.E Chumteav Chham Mary was assigned to Leads a working group Coordinating Team to Bring Four Children from Child Development Cambodia to Meet Mothers
On Wednesday, 23 August 2023, with close attention of His Excellency Keo Remy, Senior Minister, and President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), a [CHRC] Working Group was assigned and led by Her Excellency Chham Mari, CHRC Vice-President and Director General of the General Department of Investigation and Human Rights Education, to Development Enfance Cambodge from which four children were brought to meet their mothers who are being held in the Correctional Centre 2 (M2).
On that occasion, the Working Group also inspected the living conditions of the detainees.
Please be informed that this is the ninth occasion that, under the leadership and with close attention of His Excellency Keo Remy, Senior Minister, and CHRC President, attention is always paid to prisoners’ rights and well-being, especially women and children who follow their mothers.
