Chambok Commune Residents Participated in CHRC-Organised Educational Session on “Human Rights and Law”
Takeo province: HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), assigned HE Vann Chandara, a CHRC member, to head a working group to the Chambak commune hall, Bati district, Takeo province, on Tuesday, 14 July 2026. The group conducted a “Human Rights and Law” awareness session attended by 33 local residents, including 7 women. Topics included 1. Cambodia’s human rights protection mechanisms, 2. citizens’ rights and obligations, and 3. rights, freedoms, and laws.
The provincial governor, together with district governors, the commune chief, council members, and local residents warmly welcomed this educational and outreach event, contributing significantly to its successful outcome.
